Calling all trumpet players!

IUP Trumpet Day features a gala concert, mass ensemble rehearsals, vendor exhibits, and a master class and recital with guest artist Micah Wilkinson.  Trumpet Day is hosted by Dr. Kevin Eisensmith. All events will be held in Cogswell Hall on the campus of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Micah Wilkinson

Micah Wilkinson has enjoyed a varied career as an orchestral musician, soloist, chamber artist, and teacher. He was appointed Principal Trumpet of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra by Manfred Honeck in September 2017, following the PSO’s  highly successful European Festivals Tour. He began his tenure with the PSO in January 2018.
